Notre ambition tient en quelques points :

satisfaire nos publics en leur offrant une programmation aussi dense et variée que possible
maintenir la notoriété du Théâtre du Beauvaisis, son rayonnement sur le territoire régional et national comme un théâtre de création, aux démarches artistiques innovantes
encourager nos publics et ceux qui le deviendront assurément, à fréquenter un site insolite dans un écrin patrimonial, la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare, et à nous rejoindre sur des lieux de diffusion en milieu rural dans le grand Beauvaisis
inventer de nouvelles pratiques, de nouveaux usages pour une saison qui s’annonce forcément différente, plus participative et partagée notamment avec l’équipe de la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare qui nous accueille sur son lieu et que nous remercions chaleureusement.

Grange de la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare

Exemple remarquable de l’architecture hospitalière du Moyen Age, la Maladrerie Saint Lazare se réveille et se dévoile au public son architecture, son histoire et sa mémoire. Unique en son genre tant par son emprise (3 ha) que par la richesse de son bâti, elle fait actuellement l’objet d’une vaste restauration. Ce site a gardé ses trois parties distinctes correspondant à ses trois fonctions d’usage : la ferme, le logis des religieux et la chapelle romane. La grange vient de retrouver tout son éclat. Imposante (740m2), elle date du XIIIe siècle et est remarquable de par ses dimensions (740m2) et sa magnifique charpente de chêne. Les visiteurs pourront aussi flâner au gré des allées du jardin d’inspiration médiévale.
